Victorian Black Walnut Letter Box.
A wonderful example of a Victorian Letter desk box in black walnut dating back to c.1850. The box features a brass letter plate to the top with a hole for letters.
We have professionally relined the interior with handcrafted marble paper.
The box is complete with a fully working lock and key and a brass key escutcheon.
It measures 20 x 13 and stands 13cm high.
Still as usable today as the day it was made. A Perfect way to store letter on a desk.
