Victorian Rosewood & Tunbridge Ware Inlaid Scent Box.
An outstanding example of a early victorian c.1850 Rosewood and Tunbridge ware perfumery with a wonderful Tunbridge ware mosaic design to the front and a tumbling block design to the top with lots of different timbers such as yew wood, tulipwood, ebony chestnut and diseased oak.
It sits on four bone feet and has a fully working loc and original key.
The box houses it’s three original bottles and labels. With it’s wonderful original red satin interior.
It measures 17 by 7.5 and stands 10cm high
