Georgian Sarcophagus Flame Mahogany Jewellery Box.
A superb example of a Georgian flame mahogany sarcophagus shaped jewellery box dating back to c.1820.
The box features bevelled edging, a mother or pearl top and key escutcheon complete with a working lock and key. It sits on four wooden feet with ring handles to the sides.
Open the box to reveal the original tray. We have professionally relined the interior and tray with a beautiful handcrafted marble paper.
