19th Century French Fruitwood And Kingwood Games Box.

An exceptional example of a 19th century French Fruitwood and Kingwood games box dating back to c.1880. The box features a wonderful fruitwood and kingwood pattern throughout the box.

Open the box to reveal several sectioned boxes filled with bone counters with packs of cards to the centre the interior also features chunky brass hinges and brass brackets to stop the top from falling.

The box is complete with a working lock and tasselled key.

Superb quality and condition measuring 34 x 26 and stands 8cm high.
