A beautiful example of a 19th Century French  Burr Siberian Birch  Jewellery Display  Box.

The jewellery box dates back to 1870. It’s edged in ebony, featuring a glass centre, perfect to display beautiful pieces of jewellery.

The bevelled glass top  is in good condition.

The box has a fully working lock and tasseled key with a makers label to the underneath.

Open the box to reveal its original blue satin quilted interior.

Superb quality and condition measuring  20 x 20 and stands 11cm high.
