Victorian Jewellery/Sewing Box In Specimen Woods
A superb example of a Victorian eight sided jewellery/ sewing box dating back to c.1860.
The box is made up of beautiful woods such as burr amboyna, flame mahogany and padook. Featuring a mother of pearl key escutcheon and a working lock and key.
Open the box to reveal a sewing tray to the interior with several lidded compartments and space underneath. We have relined the back of the inside lid with handcrafted marble paper.
Superb quality and condition measuring 28.5 x 15 and stands 14.5 cm high.
