Victorian Tunbridge Ware Inlaid Walnut Jewellery Box.
A striking example of a walnut box dating back to c.1860.
The box features beautiful decorative inlaid Tunbridge Ware bands with wonderful colours and detail running down the top and front. The centre of the box has a beautiful brass and Tunbridge Ware inlaid top and key escutcheon to the centre.
The box is complete with a working lock and key.
Open the box to reveal the original red quilted satin to the back of the inside lid. We have professionally relined the rest of the interior with handcrafted marble paper.
A beautiful piece of walnut.
Superb quality and condition measuring 30 x22 and stands 15cm high.
