A spectacular examples of an exceptional Mother of pearl break front, twin lidded tea caddy dating back to c.1840.
The tea caddy is in superb condition, it sits on four mother of pearl feet , it has a silver escutcheon to the top and key. Open the box to reveal a bone slip to the inside, mother of pearl twin lids and its original move velvet interior to the back of the lid. The caddy is complete with a working lock and tasselled key.
Superb quality and condition measuring 21 cm by 14 and stands 16 cm high
