18th Century Mahogany Shell Inlaid Tea Caddy.
A fine example of a 18th Century Mahogany Tea caddy dating back to c.1780 featuring two beautifully inlaid Harewood shells to the top and front with a brass handle to the top. It has mother of pearl key escutcheon with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
The box houses a single mahogany lid with a brass handle.
It measures 15 x12 and stands 12 cm high.
