William IV Rosewood Lap Desk.
A very cute sized William IV Rosewood lap desk darting back to c.1830.
The lap desk is in a superb piece of rosewood featuring a mother of pearl top and key escutcheon.
Open the box to reveal the original blue velvet writing surface with space to the underneath for paperwork. It has two inkwell sections one with the original ink well. There are lidded sections containing nibs and waxes. A nib slope and A pen slope including a bone handled pen with compartment underneath
The box is complete with a working lock and key.
Superb quality and condition measuring 31 x 25 and stands 10cm high.
