William IV Rosewood Box With Mother Of Pearl Inlay.
A spectacular example of a William IV Rosewood Jewellery box.
The box features a stunning mother of pearl and pewter design of bird’s, flowers and foliage all around the front and the top of the box .
Dating back to c.1830 the box features ring handles to the sides. The key is just for decoration and doesn’t work the lock.
It sits on four rosewood feet, with bevelled edging.
We have professionally relined the interior with handcrafted marble paper.
A real statement piece.
