Victorian Walnut Jewellery Box with Beautiful Tunbridge Ware Inlay.
A striking example of a Victorian Walnut jewellery box dating back to c.1850, the box is edged with cross banded Tulipwood, with ebony borders and inlaid with a beautiful Tunbridge ware pattern to the top and front of the box. It has a brass and inlaid tunbridge ware top and key escutcheon.
The box is complete with a working lock and key.
We have relined with interior with a beautiful hand crafted marble paper.
