Regency Rosewood Teapoy.
A superb example of a English Regency Rosewood Teapoy dating back to c.1820.
The Teapoy is sarcophagus in shape, it sits on four rosewood feet, it features a fully working lock and tasselled key with a brass key escutcheon.
The Teapoy houses it’s original fitted interior with  original green velvet to the back of the inside lid, brass inlaid corners and chunky brass hinges it’s built for stability. it has four rosewood tea canisters and two cut glass tea liners one of which has a crack, otherwise in good condition.
The Teapoy is in superb original condition
It measures 45 x 29 and stands 92cm high.
