Georgian Burr Yew Twin Section Tea Caddy.
A fine example of a Georgian twin section tea caddy in a superb piece of burr yew dating back to c.1820. The Tea caddy features a copper plated handle to the top with a mother of pearl key escutcheon and a fully working lock and key.
Open the box to reveal twin mahogany lids edged in boxwood. We have partially relined the back of the inside lid with handcrafted marble paper. A splendid tea caddy.
It measures 21 x 12 and stands 13cm high.
