George III Single Burr Amoboyna Tea Caddy.

A superb example of a George III Burr Amboyna single tea caddy dating back to c.1790.The tea caddy features boxwood, ebony and satinwood inlaid borders.

The box is complete with a fully working lock and tasselled key.

The interior includes a beautiful original lid with a bone handle to the centre. We have relined the back of the inside lid with handcrafted marble paper.

Superb quality and condition measuring 12 x 12 and stands 14cm high.
