18th Century Mahogany Decanter Box.
A superb 18th century Mahogany decanter box dating back to c.1780. The box is cross banded in tulipwood and features herring bone stringing, is in superb original condition with pretty brass carrying handles to the sides and a brass key escutcheon with a working lock and key. The interior has been relined with a beautiful red velvet fitted interior with six glass decanter bottles in perfect order.
As the box is in wonderful original condition it isn’t perfect and it does have a few marks.
It Measures 26 x 18 and stands 22cm high.
