William IV Rosewood Box With Mother Of Pearl Inlay.
An elegant example of a William IV box in a superb piece of rosewood, dating back to c.1830.
The box features a beautiful mother of pearl floral design to the top and front of the box with pewter inlaid borders and a mother of pearl top and key escutcheon complete with a working lock and key. The box sits on four rosewood feet. We have relined the interior with a beautiful handcrafted marble paper.
Superb quality and condition measuring 29 x 21 and stands 22cm high.
