William IV Rosewood And Amboyna Lap desk Featuring Mother Of Pearl Inlay.
An exceptional example of a William IV Rosewood Lap desk dating back to c.1830, featuring inlaid mother of pearl and a amboyna centre. The box has a mother of pearl key and top escutcheon with the name Belinda engraved on it.
The box is complete with a fully working lock and key.
Open the box to reveal a green releathered writing surface with space underneath for paperwork, two nib slopes a pen slope with section underneath a lidded pen compartment and two inkwell sections with silver topped inkwells.
It measures 35 x 24 and stands 10cm high.
