A striking example of a walnut box dating back to c.1870.
The box Features tulipwood cross banding with beautiful decorative inlaid Tunbridge Ware bands with wonderful colours and detail running down the top and front. With superb micro mosaic designs of flowers to the top and a moth to the front of the box.
Complete with a working lock and key.
Open the box to reveal the beautiful original back of the inside lid.
We have professionally relined the rest of the interior with handcrafted marble paper.
