Victorian Walnut and Tunbridge Inlaid Box.

A striking example of a Victorian walnut box dating back c.1880. The box features superb vibrant  Tunbridge ware patterned borders around the top and front of the box with a tunbridge ware and mother of pearl inlaid top escutcheon to the centre. The box is complete with a mother of pearl key escutcheon and a working lock and key.

We have professionally relined the interior with a beautiful handcrafted marble paper.

Superb quality and condition measuring 31 x 23 and stands 13.5cm high.
