Victorian Olive wood Sewing/Jewellery Box.
A beautiful Victorian Sewing/jewellery box in a superb piece of Olive wood dating back to c.1880.
The box features a brass and tunbridge ware top and key escutcheon with a working lock and key.
Open the box to reveal the original fully fitted sewing tray in the original red satin with three lidded compartments, pin cushions, thimbles and six sewing reals. The back of the inside lid features the original satin. Lift out the tray to reveal the section underneath that we have professionally relined with a red handcrafted marble paper that compliments the rest of the box perfectly.
Superb quality and condition measuring 25.5 x 18 and stands 15 cm high.
