Victorian Olive-wood Jewellery Box.

A superb example of a Victorian  Jewellery Box in a glorious piece of olive-wood, dating back to c.1850.

The box features a side drawer which can be allocated by pulling up the pin to the inside.

It has a decorative engraved  brass shield to the top and key escutcheon, complete with a working lock and tasselled key.

We have relined the interior with a beautiful handcrafted marble paper.

Superb quality and condition measuring 31 x23 and stands 17cm high.
