Victorian French Rosewood Jewellery Box
An exquisite example of a shaped Victorian French rosewood jewellery box dating back to c.1880.
The box features a stunning brass and bone inlaid design of flowers and birds to the top and flowers and foliage surrounding the key.
The box houses a fall down front, a top section and two drawers one of which doesn’t open. We have relined the interior with handcrafted marble paper.
A rare and stunning piece in superb condition measuring 29×20 and stands 17 cm high
The box is complete with a working lock and key.
