A beautiful example of a dome top Burr Walnut Sewing/Jewellery Box dating back to c.1880.
The box has a beautiful engraved shield brass top and key escutcheon featuring a working lock and key.
Open the box to reveal the original beautiful red quilted satin interior to the back of the inside lid in amazing condition featuring the original sewing tray we have relined the rest of the box with handcrafted marble paper that matches the red paper perfectly.
A beautiful piece of burr walnut in Superb condition measuring 30.5 x 23 and stands 15.5 high.
