Regency Mahogany Box With Boxwood Inlay.
A superb Regency Box in a wonderful piece of mahogany with boxwood inlay. The box sits on four brass feet it has brass lion mask handles to the sides and is a wonderful shape that we have never seen in a box.It dates back to c.1820. We have relined the interior with a wonderful handcrafted marble paper. Unfortunately the box doesn’t come with a working lock or key.
Superb quality and condition measuring 34 x 21 and stands 17cm high.
