George III Tiger Maple Table Box.

A rare and beautiful example of a George IV table box in a wonderful piece of tiger maple an unusual wood to find. The box  features ebony inlaid borders, a Sheffield plated handle to the top and a brass key escutcheon, it dates back to c.1830.

We have professionally relined the interior with a beautiful handcrafted marble paper.

Superb quality and condition measuring 28 x 24 and stands 11cm high.
