George III Octagonal Yew Inlaid Table Box.
A superb George III octagonal box in Yew dating back to c.1810.
The box is cross banded in tulipwood, inlaid in ebony and edged in boxwood. It features a engraved vinaigrette of the royal muse in Brighton to the top with a handmade gold leaf to the outside border.
The box houses an interior has been relined in handcrafted marble paper with the name of the place to the inside. The lock works although it is temperamental. The box is in superb condition.
It measures 19 x16 and stands 6 cm high.
