19th Century French Thula Jewellery Box.
An elegant French Sarcophagus Jewellery box in Thula dating back to c.1820, it  sits on four  ball feet,  with a brass handle to the top, a mother of pearl top and key escutcheon. The box has  a fully working lock and tasselled key.  Open the box to reveal an interior that has been relined with hand crafted marble paper.
The box measures 22 x 16 and stands 14 cm high.
