William IV Rosewood Sarcophagus Jewellery Box.

A classic style William IV sarcophagus jewellery box in rosewood dating back to c.1830. The jewellery box sits on four wooden feet, it has a mother of pearl top and key escutcheon with a fully working lock and tasselled key and ring carrying handles to the sides.

Open the box to reveal an original jewellery tray the interior has been relined with a beautiful handcrafted marble paper.

The box measures 30 x 22 and stands 20 cm high.
