19th Century French Burr Cedar And Kingwood Glove  Box.

A beautiful example of a 19th century French glove  box in burr cedar and Kingwood featuring ebonised fruitwood borders, edged in brass and  crossbanded tulipwood.With a brass top escutcheon to the centre.

The box is complete with a working lock and tasselled key.

Open the box to reveal a fall down front and chunky brass hinges and lock plate.

Super quality and condition, measuring 29 x 11 and stands 9cm high.
