18th Century Brassbound Mahogany Box.

A superb 18th century Brassbound Mahogany box darting back to c.1770, it would have started life as a decanter box.  It features a wonderful mother of pearl and brass inlaid design to the top.

The box has a working lock and tasselled key with a mother of pearl key escutcheon.

We have professionally relined the interior with handcrafted marble paper.
